Manjot is currently working on artist’s books, Video Art and Performance based on the imagery from daily incidents and seeing these incidents in the light of the dream world making the real world seem weird. She create animation and videos out of mundane imagery where the entities have their certain and specific function to perform which she decide in an organic way, like our body works. She also juxtapose herself as a moving image in the dream scape doing various daily chores, etc. which are present assimilated habits of her. This subject matter generally come for the daily chores from the point of being an Indian house wife herself and inculcating the fact of seeking balance between both her art practice and managing home.

The elements of reality and abstraction go hand in hand, the way the abstract nature of our thought process is based on the reality of the situation around us. So, she try to merge realism and abstraction on a single plane.
